The exclusive wine merchant Le Clos planned to unveil the most expensive bottle ever retailed – a giant “Balthazar” from the classic Chateau Margaux vineyard in France’s Bordeaux region.
media971 were commissioned by Impact Porter Novelli, part of the BBDO group and the agency managing the campaign for MMI, Le Clos’ parent company.
We travelled to Bordeaux during the grape harvest and filmed in the vineyard, the cellars and with vintners packing the Balthazar bottle for auction. Back in Dubai, we filmed the auction where one bottle sold for $195,000.
media971 produced a Video News Release (VNR) for global distribution, including a script, shotlist and editing instructions. It ran on Reuters TV and was picked up by broadcasters across the world.
